Geotechnical Sensors
Our research group specializes in advancing the boundaries of geotechnical monitoring by utilizing state-of-the-art sensor technologies, such as the entire range of fibre optic sensors. This allows gaining deeper insights into the behaviour of soils and structures, enhancing the safety of critical infrastructure as well as the efficiency in the construction processes. Our research is rounded up by the development of suitable analytical or numerical models to fully exploit the potential of the newly acquired quantities.
